Roberto Mancini, has signed a new five-year contract.




Manchester City club announced, Roberto Mancini, has signed a new five-year contract.

The Italian coach ended speculation about a move to Russia and is now committed to the Premier League champions until the summer of 2017.

Mancini, who replaced Mark Hughes at Eastlands in December 2009, delivered the first City title since 1968 in May in only his second full season.

He said: "I am delighted to be able to give my best for Manchester City for five years.

"The opportunity exists to build on our recent success is enormous. This is a fantastic football club and I'm looking forward to the challenges ahead."

City acting CEO John McBeath said: "This new agreement allows Roberto to focus on the challenge of guiding a team that is able not only to defend the Premier League title, but who can compete for honors in Europe.
Mancini consider the best coach in the premier league therefore achievement of premier league instead of Manchester united in the additional time.
